Adenia Volkensii

Adenia volkensii are a winter-dormant caudiciform shrub or woody vine native to East Africa

Keep dry when leafless in winter but water regularly during the growing season. Appreciates strong light but acclimatize to direct light gradually to avoid burning the leaves.

These examples are 8 – 12 inches tall and growing in 4 or 5 inch terra cotta pots. Pick up in San Francisco potted, otherwise ships bare-root without pot.
