Native to Brazil the Cereus peruvianus monstrose is a tree like cactus with a twisted, ribbed growth pattern which gives it a very unique appearance.
Also known as Cereus hildmannianus, Cereus uruguayanus, Piptanthocereus peruvianus, Cereus repandus, Stenocereus peruvianus.
Requires full sun for at least part of the day, the more the better. Outdoor growing is advised. Very heat tolerant. Water every 2-3 weeks during the growing season. Leave almost drying in winter.
